Bon Secours Kentucky Health System (Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital) has an outstanding opportunity for a Vice President of Mission. The health system is located in Ashland, Kentcuky along the Ohio River bordering Ohio and West Virginia. It currently operates a 214-bed hospital, a certified home care facility, and several offsite medical programs.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for the integration of Mission and Values within the local system, leads the implementaion of Mission functions, programs and activities, participates in the strategic planning and when appropriate, callaborates with the Church.
Candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years increasing responsibilities as a Health Care Professional or Administration of Mission related programs or services. Candidate must demonstrate ability in competencies for Mission Leaders including Theology, Spirituality, Health Care Ethics, Organiztional Ethics and Organizational Awareness/Dynamics along with the potential for development of competencies as needed. Bachelor's degree with academic study in Catholic theology and ministry required. Master's Degree preferred. Knowledge and understanding of Prinicples of Organizational Behavior and management and leadership skills required.
